This is a part-time role working 14 hours a week in one of our busy home stores, and it is a permanent contract.
About the role
Our Sales Assistants work alongside the management team and volunteers to drive shop performance, focusing on generating stock, maximizing value, and building customer loyalty. Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the highest standard of customer service
* Achieving maximum sales
* Assisting in store operations such as sorting donations, stock rotation, deliveries, merchandising, pricing, and shop-floor replenishment
* Liaising with the E-Commerce team to maximize online sales
* As a Keyholder, responsible for the store when there isn't a manager on duty, which may involve lone working. Applicants must be 18+ years old.
About you
Previous retail experience is not essential; however, a strong desire to deliver excellent customer service is important. You should be able to work collaboratively and guide volunteer team members effectively.
