At MJV, we provide flowers for corporate events, weddings, film premiers and brand activations.. We are passionate about excellence. Our company continues to grow year after year, and we are proud to work with interesting and varied clients on challenging and exciting briefs. We operate from our studio in Battersea in South West London, and work mostly in and around London.
As a studio manager you will be the backbone of every event, making sure the studio runs smoothly, whilst empowering the team:
• Managing the full operational workflow for each event
• Scheduling and coordinating florists, drivers and vehicles
• Taking responsibility for the upkeep and readiness of our vans
• Overseeing props and equipment logistics
• Delegating individual jobs to our Head Florists and supporting them to deliver
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our studio
• Basic IT troubleshooting to keep day-to-day operations running
• Acting as a backup driver for on-site emergencies when needed
• Implementing and upholding efficient, methodical processes across the team
• Problem-solving in real time to keep every event on track

You’ll play a key role in the well-being of our florists, fostering a happy, positive environment where people feel supported and valued. A great atmosphere is just as important to us as a perfectly executed event.
We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience in a similar role in operations, logistics or event coordination- at least 5 years experience - can be a catering company or a flower company where timing and precision of work and delivery are essential.
• Detailed, efficient, excellent at following and implementing systems and a good leader
• Someone who thrives under pressure and takes full ownership
• Basic IT knowledge for day to day trouble shooting
• Full UK driving licence
• London-based and flexible around event schedules
* Knowledge in floristry will be valued but is not essential.
