Eco Sash & Case specializes in repairing, refurbishing, and manufacturing sash and case windows and casement windows using sustainable timber. Based in Edinburgh, our talented craftsmen are dedicated to environmentally friendly practices. We reuse, repair, and refurbish historic windows, providing draught-proofing to save energy. We also use responsibly sourced timber and contribute to reforestation by planting a Scots Pine through Trees for Life for every completed sash window project.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Joiner based in Edinburgh. The Joiner will be responsible for repairing, refurbishing, and installing new timber windows. Day-to-day tasks include utilizing carpentry skills, handling power tools, installing windows, and performing finish carpentry work. The role also involves collaborating with our workshop team and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship aligned with our environmental objectives.
Qualifications
* Carpentry and Finish Carpentry skills
* Experience with Power Tools and Hand Tools
* Skills in fenstration
* Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to environmentally friendly practices
* Relevant certification or apprenticeship in carpentry or a related field is a plus
