We are seeking a passionate Year 2 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school community in Gosport from January 2026.
About the Role
As our new Year 2 Class Teacher, you’ll:
* Inspire a love of learning through engaging and imaginative lessons.
* Support pupils in achieving their best across the curriculum, particularly in phonics and early literacy.
* Work collaboratively with a dedicated Key Stage 1 team and support staff.
* Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and kindness.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2.
* Demonstrates excellent classroom management and a commitment to inclusive education.
* Brings energy, creativity, and a passion for helping children thrive.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
