The Royal Blind School, operated by Sight Scotland, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Edinburgh. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support the educational, social, and emotional development of our pupils. You will assist in delivering personalised learning programmes and provide essential one-to-one and group support to ensure each learner can access the curriculum in a way that suits their individual needs. The role requires patience, empathy, and a commitment to promoting independence and confidence in every child. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, resilient, and genuinely passionate about inclusive education. Experience of working in an educational or care setting is desirable, particularly with children or young people with additional support needs, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
