Overview
Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Indirect Buyer to join their growing organisation. The successful candidate will have previously worked within a fast paced, manufacturing environment and have led end-to-end sourcing of indirect categories.
Role details: Permanent position in Minworth, site based. Salary dependent on experience. Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7am/8am – 4pm/5pm, Friday 7am/8am – 1pm/2pm.
Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end sourcing of indirect categories, including capex, packaging and logistics
* Negotiate prices and contract terms
* Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and quality teams to forecast demand, manage budgets, and support new product introductions and site projects.
Qualifications
* Previously worked within a fast paced, manufacturing environment
* Well versed working in a Buyer role or similar, focusing on indirect purchasing
* Ability to work autonomously
