Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join our well‑established Oncology Breast Cancer Service as a Breast Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist. This post will be based at the University Hospitals site with possible travel to Rugby St Cross for outpatient clinics.
Responsibilities
* Establish and provide a specialist service for the care and ongoing management of patients diagnosed with breast cancer undergoing treatment.
* Participate in the provision of high‑quality care from diagnosis, through treatment and during follow‑up.
* Make informed decisions within your own area and scope of practice to ensure agreed standards and targets are met.
* Develop and implement opportunities for advancing clinical practice and for ensuring collaborative working relationships, incorporating expert clinical practice, leadership, consultation and education.
Qualifications and Experience
* Dynamic, inspirational and forward‑thinking practitioner.
* Extensive experience in oncology.
* Excellent leadership, management and communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Enthusiasm, a desire to learn and flexibility.
* Skillful, caring and compassionate nursing practice.
Requirements
Successful applicants must provide an immunisation and vaccination report from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
