The Role: As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our guests in our restaurants, bars, and event spaces. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Greeting and seating guests in a friendly and professional manner
* Ensure that guests have a great experience in our restaurant and bar, and are leaving with a desire to come back again
* Taking accurate food and drink orders and delivering them promptly
* Mix and serve drinks following set standard recipes
* Ensuring the dining area is clean and well-presented at all times
* Assisting with the setup and breakdown of events and functions
* Providing guests with information about menu items and daily specials
* Handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues with a positive attitude
* Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service
* Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and knowledge of safety
* Process cash and credit card transactions following appropriate procedures
* Assist with inventory and inventory control
Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
* Strong team player with a positive attitude
* Flexible availability, including weekends
* Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures
