We're seeking an experienced and pro-active Anti Social Behaviour & Tenancy Enforcement Officer to support our social housing client on an ongoing contract in Liverpool/St Helens. The role is a blend of office, patch and home working, so a driving licence with access to your own vehicle and valid business insurance is essential to be considered for the role, and must be able to attend offices in Liverpool and St Helens a minimum of twice per week.
Key responsibilities:
1. Manage your own caseload of anti-social behaviour and other tenancy breach cases, including hate crime, domestic violence and nuisance
2. Carry out a range of visits including to victims, witnesses and perpetrators to gather evidence, witness statements and anything additional required to carry out investigations
3. Prepare and serve legal notices, and attend court to represent the group where required
4. Liaise with Neighbourhood Officers in relation to ongoing cases, providing expert advice and guidance
5. Work in partnership with Police, legal teams, courts and other stakeholders
6. Make referrals to external services where appropriate
7. Ensure all case notes are accurately recorded and up to date on the housing management system
What you'll need to succeed
8. A strong background in tenancy enforcement and ASB case management within social housing
9. Experience of gathering witness statements, evidence, preparing legal casework and attending court to present evidence
10. A good understanding of housing legislation and best practice in relation to tenancy management, enforcement and ASB, crime and policing
11. Driving licence with access to own vehicle and valid business insurance
