GMP Recruitment Agency Limited is recruiting on behalf of a Worcestershire‑based manufacturing company known internationally for its product. The role is a motivated Supply Chain Analyst position for their Purchasing Department. It is office‑based in Evesham, Monday‑Friday, with a salary up to £35,000 per annum based on relevant experience. Candidates must be analytically minded, solution‑focused and within a 20‑mile radius of Evesham.
Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the efficient procurement of parts sourced from East Asia. The successful candidate will analyse sales trends, forecast requirements, place purchase orders, and actively monitor the supply chain to support the sales team with stock management, reporting, and performance analysis.
* Create and issue purchase orders for product lines
* Maintain accurate purchasing records within ERP or other procurement systems
* Oversee the full order process, from placement to delivery
* Handle supplier communications professionally via phone and email
* Respond promptly to supplier queries and provide accurate information
* Communicate with suppliers regarding order progress, shipping and documentation
* Monitor stock levels to reduce the risk of shortages while avoiding overstock
Qualifications
Previous experience in a supply chain role is essential. Indefinite right to work in the UK is required for this permanent role.
* Proven experience working within supply chain or procurement functions
* Skilled in managing and resolving supplier enquiries efficiently and professionally
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a strong focus on maintaining positive supplier relationships
* Highly detail‑oriented, committed to accuracy and delivering quality outcomes
* Proactive and solution‑focused, able to address delays, stock shortages and urgent requests effectively
