Finance Apprentice
Contract: Cheshire East Highways
Location: Crewe
Contract Type: Permanent
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to start your career while working towards a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification. You will gain valuable personal and professional skills through hands-on experience in the workplace, supported by structured learning delivered by your local college over 12–18 months.
As part of the role, you will support the team with a range of accounting and administrative tasks, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of timesheets, expenses, goods received notes, invoice queries and other finance-related activities. This role will give you practical insight into financial processes while building the foundations for a successful career in business or finance.
The Role
•Input GRNs on a regular basis to ensure timely recording of costs
•Investigate invoice queries from the accounts payable department
•Processing and posting of timesheets and expenses
•Assist in end of month/year processes including preparation of reports
• Support wider teams with key processes and administrative tasks
About You
•Experience of Microsoft systems (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
•Desirable Excel skills, formulas, lookups & pivot tables
•Minimum English and Maths GCSE A*-C or 9-4
