Job Description:
Our client is a specialist research consultancy working across fragile states and nations to produce and manage research that informs communication strategies affecting social and political change. This role is ideal for someone experienced in coordinating and delivering research products, managing pipelines of work and junior staff, and executing analytical and assessment projects, with an emphasis on OSINT and media monitoring.
Experience in Strategic communications, media influence, and analysis of security threats would be highly valued.
This position involves working on a high-growth project providing analytical assessments across multiple African countries, integrating data streams such as opinion research, media monitoring, open-source insights, and qualitative research. The work addresses contemporary issues like security, democracy, development, and defense, appealing to those interested in international politics and backgrounds in research and intelligence.
Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical report writing skills, as the role requires delivering high-quality, robust work. Understanding the strategic application of research is essential. The role may involve some foreign travel within Europe and to non-Western countries.
Candidates must be residents in the UK or have the right to live and work in the UK.
This role is based three days per week in the Central London office, with the option to work from home on other days. It is initially a one-year contract with potential to become permanent.
