A newly created role to take ownership of eCommerce channels across Europe & Africa for a major FMCG business.
Sitting as part of a global team (based out of the UK) this is a great opportunity to scale an area that has been underinvested in recent years, with huge opportunity for some quick wins in the short-term and longer-term growth driven by building and executing your own strategy.
Right now the business is split between Amazon, e-retail and distributors, each being managed by different teams / people. Due to this fractured structure, there is no clear eCommerce strategy and 'best practice' across the region.
Your role will be to come in and pull all of these routes to market into one centralised P&L. For some regions (e.g. Amazon Italy) you'll directly manage the relationships and build JBPs with Amazon. For some of the smaller regions, you'll be building toolkits that the local market teams / country managers can use to build stronger eCommerce plans with their customers.
International eCommerce experience is key here - ideally having worked with Amazon, but equally if you've managed a range of international distributors and e-retailers that would be hugely valuable experience.
Office in Central London, 2-3 days a week in office / 2-3 days a week from home, with international travel every couple of months.
Salary is up to £55k basic with a £6.5k car allowance, 10% bonus, pension, healthcare etc.
