Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

We are recruiting for Female Support Workers to support 3 ladies who share their home in Westhill, Aberdeenshire. The people we support have faced a lot of challenges in the past because of their learning disabilities but this hasn’t stopped them from enjoying life! They enjoy lots of activities, including gardening, arts and crafts, puzzles, going to the theatre and concerts and going for spa days. Our support team are very diverse and work well together to ensure the people we support are happy and safe in their own homes. This can include: Supporting them with medication ,Cooking, Assisting with personal care and mobility, Maintaining the homes of people supported and managing their finances. Our team provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so we are looking for some flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including some weekends and sleepovers. We are looking for a 2 Bank Support Workers for 26 hours per week. One of the values of Community Integrated Care is our passion for our people and every year we invest in our front-line worker pay in line with the Living Wage increase each April. Our promise has always been clear: we will do everything in our power to improve pay for colleagues. Shifts will be 10pm to 7am Waking Nights. Sometimes the people we support need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a female is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act .
