An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Acute Pain Service Clinical Nurse Specialist Team. The post holder will be able to demonstrate a level of experience in pain management techniques within a surgical setting as a Registered Nurse, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of pain management, including risks and complications.
Shifts are flexible, covering 4 or 5 shifts over 7 days.
This person should have an interest in acute post-operative pain management, including experience in IV analgesia devices, Local Anaesthetic Infusions, and will have completed the IV Drug Administration course.
The post holder will be involved in developing and delivering formal and informal teaching and data feedback sessions as part of this role. To demonstrate this, a presentation will form part of the interview process.
