The role
We are looking for Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operatives for a well known organisation based on the Wakefield 41 Industrial Park. The roles will start on 1 June and will initially be 7 week contracts.
Must haves:
- Minimum C1 licence.
- Valid licence and driver card.
- In date DQC card.
- No more than 6 penalty points.
Job Purpose
- To deliver customer orders to ensure the customer are in receipt of the correct products in a timely and effective manner.
- To work within warehouse to ensure the efficient, safe and accurate receipt and movement of stock resulting in the picking, packing and distribution of customer orders to a high quality of service to all customers.
- To deliver the number of drops assigned to the vehicle route observing road traffic laws
- and customer availability within hours assigned of that particular working day. Typically
- ranging between 15 and 30 drops per day.
- Alternatively undertake the duties of a warehouse operative on occasions when not required to deliver goods or upon completion of deliveries
