As a Technician 1, you'll be responsible for setting up desktop hardware and peripherals as part of IT roll out projects. This role involves on-site work, basic technical tasks, and excellent customer service, making it perfect for someone who enjoys practical, structured work in dynamic environments.
1. Location: Cardiff CF10 4BZ (Onsite)
2. Daily Rate: PAYE – £ (Basic) and UMB – £
3. Contract Length: 3 Months
4. Start Date: 8/12/2025
Key Responsibilities
5. Installation Technicians provide desktop hardware installation services where basic technical skills are required for a service delivery solution.
6. Installation Technicians will typically un-box and install the kit to the desk, connect peripherals, connect cables ( power and network) and perform any relevant power self-tests. Basic steps to start automated builds and simple scripted post-login configuration may also be required.
7. Technicians may be asked to work variable shift patterns as business requires.
