Overview
Travelex Birmingham, United Kingdom is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant. This role involves handling customer service within an airport environment, advising on currency products and delivering on travel-related needs.
What will you be doing?
* Nurturing and forming relationships with customers to understand their travel and currency requirements, and tailoring the experience to their destination.
* Establishing yourself as a travel money ambassador and trusted advisor, providing support and advice on Travelex products and services.
* Engaging with customers to process foreign exchange transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Delivering on key performance goals that are procedural, operational and customer-focused.
* Processing daily online FX requests and deliveries with attention to detail.
* Implementing best practice legal and regulatory standards and adhering to Travelex compliance procedures.
What do I need to have?
* Numerically proficient – you’ll handle cash and currency conversions regularly.
* Great communicator – you’ll be comfortable talking with people and building relationships, and a good listener who understands needs.
* Desire to succeed – drive to make a difference and care about the impact you have and how you make people feel.
What does the interview process look like?
* Step 1 – Application review and initial screening call by Talent Acquisition Partners or Bureau Managers.
* Step 2 – Online interview with a Talent Acquisition Partner, including a numerical and accuracy assessment related to handling money.
* Step 3 – Visit to the bureau to meet the Bureau Manager and see the working environment.
* Step 4 – If successful, offer to join Travelex; if unsuccessful, detailed feedback will be provided.
