EYFS-KS1 SEMH Teaching Assistant

The role:
A reputable school in the Toxteth (L8) is looking for a nurturing and approachable individual with a strong SEMH background, with excellent organisational and communicational skills who will be able to support teachers both within and outside of the classroom. The ideal candidate will focus on maintaining a positive learning environment for pupils with additional SEMH needs across EYFS-KS1 classes. This role will lend itself well to an individual with previous experience working with children with SEMH, however this is not an essential requirement.
* Be able to adapt support depending on pupils needs.
* Must be willing to support pupils Learning and Social skills.
* Willing to intervene if a challenging situation arises.
* Support with Phonics, Literacy and Numeracy intervention.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
