Facilities : 5 years ago, they underwent a major refurbishment and now offer a purpose-built surgery with modern facilities. This enables them to provide a wide variety of services including 2 operating theatres, diagnostic imaging, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, cardiac imaging, ultrasound, orthopaedics, and dentistry.
Team: Currently they have 22 small animal Veterinary Surgeons across 4 branches with many of those moving between branches. They have 20 small animal Registered Veterinary Nurses across 4 branches. Their team has certificate holders in medicine, surgery, and dermatology. They help and support a number of local and national animal charities including the Dogs Trust centre at Snetterton.
Role: They are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team.
Duties: This position would suit a small animal vet who is confident in carrying out a mixture of consultations and operations. They are keen to develop employees where possible and you will be expected to lead areas of specialism including consults for illnesses, injuries and vaccinations. There will be support from their experienced Vets for professional development, in working up cases and improving surgical skills. The caseload is varied, and this is a great role for Certificate holders or those wanting to start a certificate in the near future.
Hours : The role includes working 40-hour week, 10 hours per day. The shifts are from 8:00am-6:30pm with a fixed day off each week. There will be 1 in 4 weekends for which you receive TOIL and no out of hours.
Salary : Up to £75,000 p/a Depending on experience
