Senior Occupational Therapist (Band 7 Equivalent) – Hertfordshire
37.5 hrs/week
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist passionate about neurological rehabilitation? This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape a person-centred occupational therapy service within a supportive and specialist multi-disciplinary team.
Based in a beautifully restored historical setting in Hertfordshire, this role supports individuals with a range of neurological conditions through creative, functional, and evidence-based interventions. You’ll have the chance to lead a small team, deliver impactful therapy programmes, and be part of a growing network of neuro-specialist clinicians.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver person-centred occupational therapy assessments and interventions to adults with neurological conditions.
* Lead and develop therapeutic group programmes tailored to a wide range of individual needs.
* Supervise and support a small team of therapy assistants and activities coordinators.
* Assess for and recommend specialist equipment and seating where appropriate.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to care planning and rehabilitation goals.
* Ensure ongoing professional development through supervision, peer support, and learning opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
* Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
* HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
* Evidence of continued professional development.
* Ability to work autonomously and support junior staff.
* Strong team collaboration and leadership capabilities.
* Desirable: experience in neurorehabilitation (can include practice placements).
* Car Driver (due to location)
