GuardWatch Security UK Limited is a well-established, Security Industry Approved Contractor dedicated to providing top-tier security solutions. We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Gatehouse Security Officer to join our team in the Hatherleigh area.
This position is for a full time contract .
This is a 4 on 4 off start time, 06.:00 to 18:00
Key Responsibilities:
* Access Control: Manage entry and exit to the site, welcoming visitors, staff, and contractors, recording personal and vehicle details, and directing them appropriately.
* Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment by politely but firmly denying unauthorised individuals access and escorting them off the premises if necessary.
* Emergency Support: Respond effectively to emergencies, including evacuations, ensuring the safety of everyone on-site.
* CCTV Monitoring: Operate the CCTV system with professionalism and sensitivity, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
* Searches and Inspections: Conduct searches within company guidelines and maintain high standards of accuracy and respect.
* Key and Equipment Management: Oversee the control and maintenance of keys and security equipment.
* Regular Patrols: Conduct frequent patrols to ensure the site remains secure while serving as a visible security presence.
Requirements:
* Valid SIA Door Supervisor/Security Guard Licence.
* Full 5-year checkable employment/education history.
* Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
* Basic computer literacy.
* Able to commute reliably to the site in Hatherleigh, EX20 3HT.
