Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be responsible
for the preparation of all foods within the Kitchen, ensuring it is to the
highest of standards. You will be quick, efficient and accurate, providing a
prompt service delivery. Following the clear directions of the Executive Chef,
you will learn the importance of consistency and cost control. You will follow
correct hygienic food handling practices and follow the restaurant’s cleaning
and waste disposal practices.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a
passion for food and excellent kitchen knowledge along with an understanding of
food safety and hygiene for the environment you will work in. You are
likely to have relevant NVQ or professional qualifications although your
technical skills and flexibility will be what sets you apart.
To be successful in this role you will bring
experience as a Commis Chef in a 5-star establishment and/or experience in a
Michelin star or AA rosette restaurant. You will be an immaculately presented
individual who possesses authentic yet impeccable customer service skills.
