Our client, a globally recognised law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Legal Conflicts professional to join them on a permanent basis in their Leeds office - working as their new Business Acceptance Manager.
You’ll be part of a Legal Conflicts focused team, based in Leeds, managing conflicts handling for all new clients and matters - as well as the implementation of information barriers. The Business Acceptance team is part of the wider Governance and Compliance team.
Responsibilities
* Managing the day-to-day operations of the Conflicts Team
* Managing a team of Team Leaders, Senior Analysts, Analysts and Assistants (setting targets, monitoring performances, etc)
* Performing and managing complex conflict checks
* Managing escalations from Team Leaders
* Developing and implementing training plans
* Providing support to the wider Governance and Compliance team
* Completing reviews of team processes
Qualifications
* Have a minimum of FOUR years' experience in a conflicts focused role from a law firm
* Be familiar and up-to-date with the SRA Code of Conduct
* Be able to commute to the Leeds office at least three days a week
