Responsibilities

* You will support the Operations Manager and General Manager in achieving objectives and assisting in specific project areas.
* You will assist the Operations Manager with the implementation of the Places Leisure Safe Manual and with maintaining a high profile shop floor presence and a high level of interaction with staff and customers.
* You will be responsible for ensuring that staff are trained correctly and to the appropriate level and are delivering the expected level of service to clients at all times, and you will also monitor performance of staff through meetings and performance & development appraisals.
* You will oversee the day to day maintenance and cleaning within the centre and assist the Operations Manager in coordinating and overseeing the performance of the Duty Managers.


About You

* You will have experience in a similar role, ideally within a leisure/hospitality environment.
* You should have experience of supervising teams, managing them to KPIs, and you will need to evidence at interview how you have motivated teams to deliver on a consistent basis.
* You should have a background in a customer facing role and be used to hitting targets to achieve individual and team targets. You will be a manager who leads from the front, as comfortable showing prospective members around the site as you are motivating a team.
