Pay: £90–£105 per day (PAYE – no umbrella deductions)
Are you a Music graduate looking to kickstart your career in education? A welcoming Post-16 College in Waltham Forest is seeking an enthusiastic Music Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their Performing Arts department.
The Role
This is an ideal first step into teaching. You’ll support lessons, work closely with students, and bring your passion for music into the classroom. Alongside experienced teachers, you’ll help learners unlock their creativity and confidence in composition, performance, and production.
Day-to-day, you’ll:
* Support teaching staff in Music lessons across Post-16 courses (BTEC and A-Level)
* Work with small groups and individuals on coursework and performance prep
* Assist with rehearsals, concerts, and live showcases
* Provide encouragement and one-to-one support for learners
* Use music technology (Logic, Sibelius, GarageBand, etc.) to enhance learning
About You
* A degree in Music or a related subject
* A passion for helping young people grow through music
* Confident communicator with strong teamwork skills
* Flexible, creative, and eager to gain classroom experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
