 
        
        HNW Relationship Manager – East Midlands
HBCS is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to develop and grow our Private Banking business across the Midlands region. The successful candidate will be based out of the Birmingham office, with regular travel and flexible work across the East Midlands. The role reports to the Senior Relationship Manager in the Midlands and focuses on UK‑Resident and UK‑Domiciled clients with investable assets of $5m‑$50m.
In This Role You Will
 * Provide full‑service banking and wealth management services to high‑net‑worth individuals, promoting HSBC Private Bank services.
 * Generate new Assets Under Management (AUM) and increase overall portfolio revenues through a growing share of wallet from existing clients.
 * Conduct client meetings independently, delivering investment suitability reviews, performance conversations and initial pitch discussions.
 * Collaborate with the Investment Specialist to ensure client objectives are met through appropriate portfolio allocation.
 * Educate clients on risk awareness and credit needs for secured and unsecured loans.
 * Work closely with other Bank Departments to maintain HSBC internal control standards and uphold audit and regulatory requirements.
To be successful you should meet the following requirements
 * Investment advisory and relationship management experience within a UK Private Banking business, especially in pitching investment capabilities to clients – essential.
 * Excellent understanding of discretionary investment product solutions and UK regulatory environment – essential.
 * CISI RDR Level 4 qualified – essential.
 * Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
 * Proven ability to manage the demands of senior internal stakeholders.
 * Own transport and ability to travel across the East Midlands region.
