Defence insurance lawyer

We are working with a market-leading international law firm who are looking for Solicitors to join their Insurance team within their Belfast office.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a collaborative and dedicated team, focusing on defence litigation. The candidate will play a key role in advising a variety of international and domestic clients, including insurance companies and self-insured commercial organisations, engaging a broad range of sectors, including public liability, employer’s liability, motor, and disease.

The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria

• 2-5 PQE;
• Strong background in personal injury. Previous experience with defence insurance claims highly advantageous;
• Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
• Outstanding academics;
• Technically excellent;
• Negotiation skills;
• Willingness to become involved in business development;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
