Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary or secondary school in your local area. This is a full-time, term-time only role (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm), starting September 2025 .
What you'll do:
* Support students with their learning in class and in small groups
* Assist the class teacher with planning and classroom management
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Provide additional support to pupils with SEND or EAL needs
* Foster strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
What we're looking for:
* Experience working with children (school-based or similar)
* A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* An understanding of safeguarding procedures
* DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
