Salary: £35000 - £70,000 per annum depending on experience Role Overview: As a Carbon and Energy Consultant, you'll play a key role in developing innovative solutions to tackle the net-zero carbon challenge. From designing carbon reduction plans to providing consultation on zero-carbon strategies, you'll be at the forefront of shaping a more sustainable future. Key Responsibilities: Develop carbon reduction plans and retrofit strategies for housing across all tenure categories. Design zero-carbon strategies for new-build residential and non-residential developments. Undertake detailed energy modelling using industry-standard methodologies. Provide consultation to companies on carbon footprint reduction and zero-carbon action plans. Engage with local authorities to develop zero-carbon action plans in response to climate emergency declarations. Advise senior leaders on policy and industry practices to achieve zero carbon energy in the built environment. Requirements: Experience in building energy modelling and carbon assessment. Familiarity with UK building regulatory landscape. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Ability to work independently and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
