Vardey Recruitment have been retained to recruit a newly qualified accountant, or CIMA/ACCA Finalist to join our client, a high growth, entrepreneurial and professional services business based in Central Bournemouth, Dorset. We are searching for a career hungry Management Accountant, who is keen to progress within the company, as the business continues to grow over the next few years.
Job Highlights
* Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
* Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
* Responsible for the Fixed Asset Register.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports for senior management.
* Monitor and analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures, providing insights and recommendations.
* FP&A – Performance reporting: Analyse and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance.
* Forecasting and modelling: Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and scenario analysis.
* Prepare "what if" analysis to evaluate potential business decisions and their impact on financial performance.
Role Interest
* Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or late stages of studies ideally finalist to newly qualified.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Appetite to improve systems/processes.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
