Procurement Manager Permanent Competitive Salary Bonus Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 16:15pm Nottingham Procurement Manager Job Description Lead and develop the procurement team, ensuring effective supplier management and contract compliance. Drive sourcing strategies that optimise cost, quality, and delivery performance. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business needs. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk. Oversee key procurement projects, reporting on supplier performance and driving continuous improvement. Procurement Manager Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Proven track record in a highly regulated, fast-paced manufacturing environment Confident in purchasing a wide range of commodities—preferably raw materials, chemicals, or specialist tooling—with a focus on volume and compliance. Hands-on procurement experience with a strong emphasis on repeat, day-to-day purchasing (approx. 80% operational / 20% strategic). Demonstrated ability to manage and develop procurement teams and build strong supplier relationships. Strong influencing and communication skills, with the ability to engage and resolve challenges across operations and engineering teams. Solid understanding of ERP systems and planning principles; CIPS and degree qualifications are desirable but not essential if backed by strong practical experience.
