Overview
Our Courts & Tribunals Service Centre (CTSC) Support Officers provide excellent telephone and administrative support to court users. The role is predominately telephone-based, handling inbound calls from the public and legal representatives and returning calls as required. Emails, webchat (for some services), and general administrative work are also part of the role. You will work in a small team supported by a Team Leader and have access to our training programme and knowledge bank to assist in your role.
You need to be a confident communicator who can liaise with members of the public regarding complex and sensitive matters in a calm and professional manner. Calls often involve stressed customers, so empathy and understanding are essential. This is a fast-paced role requiring attention to detail, multi-tasking, resilience, learning agility, and strong IT skills to adapt to new systems and technologies as we invest in digital solutions to improve justice delivery.
