Payroll manager, Hybrid, Finance Payroll ManagerLocation: RandalstownType: Full-time | Hybrid workingSalary: Up to £35,000 About the RoleWe are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Manager to lead and manage payroll operations. This plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for all employees, while navigating the complexities of multi-entity payroll structures. Key Responsibilities End-to-End Payroll Management: Oversee monthly payroll processing across all group entities, ensuring 100% accuracy and full compliance with statutory requirements. Multi-Company Coordination: Manage payroll cycles with varying pay dates, structures, and reporting needs across different business units. Manage year-end payroll processes for all entities, including P60s, P11Ds, and annual returns Compliance & Reporting: Ensure timely submissions to HMRC and other regulatory bodies, and maintain robust internal controls. Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with HR, Finance, and external providers to ensure seamless payroll integration and support. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements, automation opportunities, and system optimisations. Requirements 4 years' experience in payroll management, with specific experience managing multi-company or group payroll operations Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, PAYE, National Insurance, and pension auto-enrolment across multiple entities Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. CIPP qualification or equivalent (desirable).
