Were recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Payroll Manager to take ownership of payroll and related HR administration within a busy manufacturing environment.
The Role
1. End-to-end payroll processing
2. Calculating gross pay, including bonus schemes
3. Managing statutory deductions and payments (SSP, SMP etc.)
4. Maintaining HR files and contracts of employment
5. Calculating holiday pay and entitlements
6. Producing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
7. Advising management on payroll matters
8. Supporting statutory audits when required
What Were Looking For
9. Solid payroll experience, ideally within manufacturing
10. Experience running payroll for 100+ employees
11. SAGE 50 Payroll experience is essential
12. Confident using Microsoft Office
13. Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation
Hours
14. Monday to Thursday: 8:00am 5:00pm
15. Friday: 8:00am 12:30pm
16. hours per week
Breaks:
17. 10:00am 10:15am
18. 3:00pm 3:15pm (MonThurs)
19. Friday: 10:00am 10:15am
Additional Information
20. 20 days holiday (154 hours) plus bank holidays
21. 4 weeks notice (mutual)
22. 12-week probation
