Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Bank Support Worker (Older People) to join our team at 7 Eastwood Crescent, Thornliebank, East Renfrewshire G46 8NS. This is an excellent job opportunity for those who live in and around East Renfrewshire.
What we offer
* Bank shifts worked over a 2 week rolling rota.
* Mix of day and back shifts, working both weekdays and weekends
* Competitive hourly rate of £13.00 per hour

What we’re looking for in our Support Workers
You’ll be working with our tenants to ensure they receive the support identified in their personal plan, helping them maintain as much independence as possible. You will assist with meal delivery and provide support in the dining room; there may also be very occasional kitchen duties. It’ll be rewarding looking after those who rely on the support and dedication you’ll bring to this important role.
Support Worker Skills and Experience
Ideally, you will have an appropriate qualification in Health & Social Care and previous experience of working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community, so you will understand their needs and know how to meet these. If you are successful in joining our team we can provide you with fantastic opportunities to develop your experience or enhance your career in social care and assist with your ongoing continued personal development.
