Surveyor Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum (DOE)Hours: 48 hours per weekWe are recruiting for an experienced Surveyor on behalf of a leading telecommunications infrastructure contractor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team responsible for delivering critical network infrastructure projects across the UK.The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed site surveys, assessing underground telecoms infrastructure, interpreting network designs, and ensuring proposed routes and installations are viable before works commence.This role would suit candidates with experience in telecoms, utilities, highways, civils, fibre networks, or other infrastructure environments.Key Responsibilities Carry out field surveys of underground telecoms infrastructure, including UGDP routes and midway jointsOpen and inspect chambers to assess existing network assets and cable routesInterpret network schematics, cabling maps, and street-based design drawingsVerify site conditions against proposed designs and identify any discrepanciesAssess streetworks requirements and traffic management needsEnsure compliance with NRSWA and Chapter 8 requirementsCapture survey data using digital reporting systems and mapping softwareProduce accurate survey reports, photographs, and supporting documentationLiaise with planners, engineers, and project delivery teamsMaintain high standards of health and safety at all timesEssential Requirements Previous experience as a Surveyor within telecoms, utilities, civils, highways, or infrastructure sectorsAbility to read and interpret utility drawings, network plans, and cabling schematicsNRSWA AccreditationChapter 8 experienceTelecoms network survey experienceExperience using GIS, mapping, or digital survey systemsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsFull UK Driving LicenceDesirable Experience surveying fibre or underground telecoms networksKnowledge of streetworks permitting processesExperience working within Openreach, PIA, or network build environmentsWhat's on Offer Salary up to £42,000 depending on experience25 days annual leaveLong-term career development opportunitiesOpportunity to work on major telecoms infrastructure projectsSupportive and experienced project teamIf you have experience in telecoms surveying, utilities, civils, or network infrastructure and are looking for your next opportunity, we would like to hear from you.Apply today for immediate consideration.We endeavour to reply to every candidate, every time but if you havent heard back within 10 days, please understand that you have unfortunately been unsuccessful for this position, or the position has been filled.TPBN1_UKTJ
