Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Team Manager/Senior Practitioner to join their Hospital/D2A Team.
Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Team Manager/Senior Practitioner who has proven experience in the Hospital/D2A Teams. As an Assistant Team Manager/Senior Practitioner, you will ensure the consistent and effective delivery of the Solihull Adult Social Care Offer ‘Our Offer to You’ to Solihull citizens. To assist the team manager in the effective management of public resources, including delegated budgets and staff. Demonstrate leadership which contributes to high-performing teams that deliver quality oues.As an Assistant Team Manager/Senior Practitioner, you will have proven experience of working within the Hospital/D2A Team, and also have experience of supervising staff and students. The role is to start asap, working 37 hrs per week at the Solihull Council Houseplex (hybrid working to be confirmed).
What you'll need to succeed
1. Have a recognised professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/ in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or CQSW)
2. Social Work England registration
3. 1 year post-qualifying experience.
4. Previous experience working within Social Work adults services
5. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Flexibility to travel as required
