Your New Role
As a Cover Food Teacher, you will step into a supportive teaching environment for a single day, delivering pre-planned lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and/or 4. Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering engaging and structured food technology lessons
* Managing the classroom effectively to ensure a positive learning environment
* Supporting students with practical cooking tasks and safety procedures
* Following the school's policies and safeguarding procedures
* Providing feedback on student progress where appropriate
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A flexible and professional approach to short-term cover
* Awareness of health, safety, and hygiene in a food classroom
