We’re looking for a dedicated SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join a school in Halstead, where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential.
Role: SEMH Learning Support Assistant
Location: Halstead
Pay Rate: £90 – £110 per day
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Full-time
What you’ll do as a SEMH Learning Support Assistant:
* Provide one-to-one and group support for pupils with SEMH needs
* Help students manage emotions and develop resilience
* Assist teachers to keep lessons engaging and inclusive
* Work with SEN and pastoral teams to deliver personalised support plans

What we need from you:
* Experience in SEMH support, SEN, or youth work
* A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Must have own vehicle and a valid driving licence
