Job Opportunity: Biomedical Scientist
Applications are invited for a position based in the South Laboratory, Victoria Hospital. The laboratory is equipped with Sysmex haematology platforms, Grifols Blood Transfusion analysers, Roche pre-analytics, tracked analyser platforms, and multiple POCT devices. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a new facility with state-of-the-art equipment.
This position involves rotation through various sections within the department. The post holder will be required, following suitable training, to cover the 24/7 laboratory service. Working hours are an average of 37.0 hours per week, including early, day, late, night, and weekend shifts when suitably trained. We seek a team member who demonstrates team spirit, initiative, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
The department is UKAS accredited and IBMS approved for Support Staff training.
