Overview
The ICT shared service provides ICT services for the three South Worcestershire councils - Malvern Hills District Council, Worcester City Council, and Wychavon District Council. We provide support and development to the 700+ users. The Cyber Security Team is on the frontline of defending the Councils from a cyber attack.
Responsibilities
* monitoring and reporting of existing security systems
* implementation of new security systems
* ensuring compliance with security accreditations
* responding to incidents and carrying out security investigations
Requirements
* good working knowledge of cyber security risks and mitigations
* IT security standards and frameworks
* IT security tools and their implementation including vulnerability scanning and server patching
* IT infrastructure including Microsoft Active Directory
* SIEM implementation and monitoring
