KLA Instruments team is looking for engineers/technologists to start advanced technology group in our state of the art facilities based in Newport, Wales.This role focuses on the design and verification of optical and opto-mechanical subsystems, working collaboratively with cross functional teams across engineering and marketing.Key responsibilities* Design and develop optical/opto-mechanical subsystems and associated test methods.* Carry out optical modelling, tolerance analysis, alignment and performance verification.* Support advanced development (prototype through validation and release)* Diagnose integration issues and contribute to root cause investigations and corrective actions.* Produce clear technical documentation (specifications, procedures, test reports) KLA is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
