The opportunity: Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician with experience in a manufacturing environment? We are looking for a proactive and reliable individual to join a global leader in ingredient and premix manufacturing, supporting maintenance across essential production and facility operations. This is a well-established company with over 40 years of industry experience.
Responsibilities
* Perform reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance on critical equipment
* Support production teams and respond to technical issues efficiently
* Prioritise work orders and communicate with stakeholders and supervisors
* Maintain accurate records through a CCMS system
* Manage contractors and ensure compliance with PTW & RAMS
* Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives
* Carry out project installations to current UK Regulations
* Ensure excellent housekeeping and maintain food hygiene standards
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar (or time-served equivalent)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment (ideally food production)
* Experience with CMMS systems and strong Microsoft Office skills
* Strong technical and problem-solving abilities
* Knowledge of PLCs, variable speed drives, and fault finding (advantageous)
* IOSH or Legionella qualifications (desirable)
* A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
