About me
I am looking for a compassionate, caring and open-minded Personal Assistant to support me. It would be nice for my Personal Assistant to have similar interests as me. You will be required to help me with housework and some tasks we will do together. Previous experience would be preferable but being a proactive person with a positive attitude is more important.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Housework tasks including but not limited to general household cleaning (dusting and cleaning surfaces)
* Using initiative for tasks that need to be done
* Washing up
* Washing, drying and putting laundry away
* Ironing
* Changing beds (mine and my children’s)
* Vacuuming
* Supporting with uploading to Vinted, including trips to the post office
* Support with gardening
* Cooking and meal prepping

Summary terms and conditions
* Hours, days and times of work: 10 hours available per week; shifts Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required.
* You may be required to work the occasional weekend if there is an event I will be attending. This will be discussed beforehand.
* Pay rate: £15.00 per hour
* Annual leave: The annual holiday entitlement will be equivalent to 5.6 weeks (statutory entitlement).
* Expenses: Reimbursed for prior agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
* Sick pay: No private sick pay scheme; you may be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) if eligible.
* Pension: No private pension scheme; statutory obligations via the NEST pension scheme will be fulfilled.
Background checks and references
* Background check: A satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check is required.
* References: If successful, details of two referees will be required (one must be current or most recent employer; or character references if not employed).
* Trial period: 6 months probationary period.
