The Paint Sprayer Fine Finish is responsible for delivering high-quality, precise finishes on timber doors, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards. The specialist works closely with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:
* Prepare fire doors and components for paint spraying by cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces as required.
* Address surface imperfections and repair minor defects before painting to achieve a flawless base.
* Apply paint, lacquer, or stain with precision, using advanced spray painting techniques to achieve smooth, even, and high-quality finishes.
* Ensure consistency in colour and texture across multiple pieces or batches.
* Set up and operate paint spraying equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.
* Select and mix fire-resistant paint and coatings to achieve desired colors and finishes.
* Apply paint coatings to fire doors using spray guns, maintaining even coverage and avoiding runs or drips.
* Ensure that fire-resistant paint coatings meet industry standards for fire resistance and durability.
* Perform quality checks on painted doors to verify colour accuracy, smoothness of finish, and consistency.
* Maintain accurate records of paint mixes, material usage, and production numbers.
* Clean and maintain paint spraying equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
* Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve any paint-related issues or challenges.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and follow safe work practices at all times..
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer, preferably in a similar manufacturing environment.
* Expertise in using spray guns and related equipment for high-quality finishes.
* Familiarity with paint spraying techniques, equipment, and fire-resistant coatings.
* Knowledge of health and safety protocols and best practices related to paint spraying.
* Ability to select appropriate paints and coatings based on colour, finish, and fire-resistant properties.
* Proficient in using paint spraying equipment and adjusting settings for optimal spray patterns.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to achieve consistent, flawless finishes.
* Good colour perception and colour-matching skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot any paint-related issues.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
