We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Field Installation Engineer to join our service team. Our Field Engineers play a crucial role in the installation, servicing and repairing our products at customer sites. You will be responsible for delivering high quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and technical expertise in line with our company ethos.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance and repair of company products such as hand dryers, air sterilisation units and water coolers at our customer premises.
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal product performance of products.
Prepare detailed service reports and documentation of all activities performed.
Maintain an organised inventory of equipment and parts necessary for service operations.
Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Field Engineer or similar role in the electrical industry.
· Electrical testing qualification or demonstrable knowledge of required testing procedures.
· 18th Edition IET regulations or working towards this qualification.
· Electrical - City & Guilds Level 2 and 3 or equivalent.
· Strong technical background with knowledge of electrical systems.
· Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
· Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours as needed.
· Basic plumbing is advantageous, but training will be offered for the installation and maintenance of our water appliances.
Desirable Qualifications:
· Test and Inspection 2391/92 or 2394/55.
· PAT testing certification.
What We Offer:
· Starting salary £30,000 per annum depending on experience. On target earnings are expected to be upwards of £35,000 per annum, as a result of overtime hours worked throughout the year. Overtime is usually accrued via driving rather than time on the tools.
