We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a welcoming school in Brentford. The Role As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs. Assist the class teacher in creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment. Use strategies and interventions to help pupils regulate behaviour, build confidence and engage with learning. Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals to deliver personalised support plans. Encourage independence, resilience and personal growth in every pupil. The Ideal Candidate Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs (essential). Calm, patient and empathetic approach with excellent behaviour management skills. Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff. Team player with a proactive attitude and a genuine commitment to inclusion.
