SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time
Location: Borehamwood
Daily Rate: £90–£110 (depending on experience)

About the Position:
This full-time, term-time role is well suited to someone who is compassionate, proactive, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact. You will work closely with pupils, class teachers, and the SEN team to deliver tailored support, encourage positive behaviour, and remove barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a variety of SEN, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and physical or sensory needs.
• Support the delivery of individual education plans, helping pupils work towards agreed targets.
• Adapt learning activities and resources to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum.
• Promote emotional wellbeing, positive behaviour, and social development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals to ensure consistent support.
• Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Contribute to monitoring progress, observations, and review meetings.

What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable.
• A calm, patient, and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• A genuine commitment to helping children reach their potential.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
• SEN-related training or qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
