Head of Finance

The Role
As Head of Finance, you will lead the full finance function, as well as acting as a strategic partner to the senior leadership team. You will be responsible for driving profitable growth, strengthening financial controls, and ensuring operational excellence across the business.
Your remit will include:
* Managing a finance team of 5
* Overseeing Controllership, FP&A, Governance, and Compliance functions.
* Partnering with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver accurate forecasting, insightful variance analysis, and high-quality performance reporting.
* Driving revenue and margin optimisation by analysing trends and identifying efficiencies.
* Leading financial due diligence, modelling, and integration for mergers, acquisitions, and capital investments.
* Developing KPIs to support data-led decision-making and enhance performance.
* Managing risk, credit control, and working capital to safeguard financial health.
* Building and inspiring a high-performing finance team aligned with group values.
* Investment & M&A Support: Lead financial due diligence, modelling, and integration activities for mergers, acquisitions, and capital investment opportunities.
This role would suit a qualified senior finance professional (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with significant post-qualification experience, ideally gained in a Head Of Finance/Financial Controller remit. You will have exceptional technical reporting and analytical skills, proven commercial acumen, and the ability to influence and challenge at the highest levels.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and relationship-building skills, as you will work closely with operational teams, group finance colleagues, and senior stakeholders across the business and wider group.
